The origin story

BAR ORIGIN

Four uncles. No plan. One group chat that should have died in a week.

None of them had ever met. One was broke, bald, and unemployed on purpose. The other three just liked baseball and had famously bad judgement about who to send money to.

Between them they scraped together $200 and ¥20,000. On a thirteen-year-old Win8 laptop, a decade-old iPad, and a secondhand iPhone 8, they opened a bar that does not exist.

THE BAR IS OPEN

That is the whole story. The bar has been running ever since on caffeine, stubbornness, and a deep refusal to take any of this seriously. Pull up a stool.

P.S. If you looked closely at the second monitor in the attic — yes, that was on purpose. Different uncle. Very different bar. He will introduce himself soon enough.
